History
The Mount Hood Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, (NSDAR or DAR), was the fifteenth chapter to be organized in Oregon. It was organized on February 25, 1942, in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Frances Conklin, Helen Diebold, Maud E. Draper, Mary Mason, Winifred Paris, and Evelyn Uhr were among the founding members of the Mount Hood Chapter, NSDAR.

Our mission is to preserve the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American independence and to encourage patriotic citizenship, love of our country, and respect for our flag and constitution.
We support all DAR schools, Oregon State Society, NSDAR, museums, and the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center. |
